Today Hanna and I decided to review one of our favorite homeschool math games, Tenzi. Tenzi is a fast paced dice game. The goal of the game (if you play the basic version) is to get all ten of your dice on the same number as fast as you can, before your opponent. Basic Tenzi is super fun… but after a while, you start to wish there was a little more to it. Well, luckily there is! 77 Ways to play Tenzi! You can pick up this separate card deck and it will give you 77 new ways to play Tenzi. Some games are speed games, and some aren’t. There’s a huge variety in the 77 games so you can find a fun game for everyone.
Tenzi is great for practicing math facts, pattern recognition, memory and many other mathematical skills.
They make a ton of different sets, with a multitude of different colors. We picked up this pastel 4 set, but you can buy them with up to 10 sets of dice included. You’ll find some different options down below the video.
So, today Hanna and I made a quick video to share our favorite things about Tenzi, and show you how the game is played. 🙂
So if you think Tenzi sounds fun you can pick up your set of Tenzi and the card game here.
